Dates and venues for regional meetings
Assuming nothing changes in the regional meeting format, in 2026 there will be 3 hybrid meetings, 2 in Cullompton and 1 further west.
Regional and National Events
Some of the National and Regional events taking place this year
The Third Age Trust (TAT) makes available a number of different types of grants to u3as. The primary purpose of all these grants is to raise awareness of the u3a movement (locally, regionally, or nationally) and to encourage the recruitment of new members.
Grants are not intended to cover all the costs of events, and u3as will need to be clear what resources (including financial) they are contributing, at the outset. When planning the annual programme, u3as are encouraged to consider what public facing events might be planned and how these will be funded.
TAT offers local u3as, Networks and Links 4 different types of grants:
- Start-Up Support Grant - £500
- Membership Growth & Community Connections Grant - Up to £500
- Publicity Support Grant - Up to £250
- Large Grants. - A maximum of £2500
